Testing for chest pain includes an EKG, a treadmill stress test, a nuclear stress test, an echocardiogram and cardiac catheterization.
The first test may provide the answer or may lead to a more invasive evaluation. The answers may
find a coronary artery stenosis, valve dysfunction or a heart rhythm problem.
