The List Grows Longer as Neighborhood Debris Piles Up

It looks like we might see the remnants of the Christmas Day snow storm for quite some time in our neighborhoods.
What people call the list is getting longer every day as homeowners ask to have the city remove debris from their curb.
The city says they've already picked up 100s of tons of debris but driving around town it's clear they have a long way to go as they move through the list.
A mangled mess remains in most Little Rock neighborhoods.
Most families spent their weekend picking up. Slokum Pickell had his own yard to worry about first then he was focused on his mother-in-law's.
It's a lot of tough work sawing, cutting and breaking in half limbs especially for a family that has to do it at two different homes.
Once you gather up limbs and brush though and take them out to the street, the city of Little Rock says it may take a while to come and pick it up. In some cases, a lot longer than what you may have wanted.
"He kinda laughed and said we'll put you on the list," homeowner, Craig Davis, said about what he was told when he called 311.
Once you call that designated number, they say you're added.
"But when you're on the list and that's all they can tell you," Davis added. "I'm not looking forward to being removed any time soon."
City officials confirm it still may take weeks if not more than a month to get debris picked up.
Some families worry leaving a tangle of broken sharp limbs around for that long could be dangerous but there are options of clearing it out yourself.
Little Rock City Manager Bruce Moore says they've had crews working 10 hour days even bringing in volunteers on Sundays trying to clear debris.
