Heart disease is the leading cause of death across the nation and right here in Arkansas.
In today's Doctor's Corner -Mallory Hardin speaks with  Dr. Dwight Chrisman of Baptist Health's Heart Institute details the symptoms of a heart attack and gives you strategies to avoid heart disease altogether.

Some of the warning signs of heart attack are:
1)Chest discomfort
2)Discomfort in other areas of the upper body
3)Shortness of breath
4) Other symptoms may include a cold sweat or nausea

Here are 5 strategies to help you protect your heart
1) Don't smoke or use tobacco
2) Exercise
3) Eat a heart healthy diet
4) Maintain a healthy weight
5) Get regular health screenings
