Update: Missing Little Rock Man Found Safe

Update (3:45 p.m.):
Twelve hours after police issued a Silver Alert for a missing Little Rock man, he has been found safe.

Police said Larry Smith, 60, who has dementia, was found this afternoon.

He had been reported missing early this morning after having not been seen since Thursday afternoon.

Original story (3:00 a.m.):
The Arkansas State Police has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Little Rock man.

Little Rock Police requested activation of the alert in the search for Larry Smith, 60, who has dementia.

Police say Smith walked away from 4625 W. 16th Street around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, black hoodie and blue jeans. 

If anyone has seen Mr. Smith they are urged to contact their nearest law enforcement agency.
