A very sad situation just a day before Thanksgiving.
Bryant Police said five teens were driving along North Lake Road around one this morning, when one of them lost control and hit some trees.
All the teens were thrown from the car.
One of the teens, Drew Melton, died.
One young lady heard the accident and went to school with the teens.
"I heard this huge crash out of my window it scared me, went to try and wake up my mom, we were both freakin out, we came down here, Haley Shipe.
The accident happened on the property of Dana Gilbert, "I feel sad, I feel for the families that have injured children, you know that's a parents worst nightmare, it's my worst nightmare."
Dana's son, Tate, plays football with Hayden Lessenberry.
"Lessenberry's a good guy, he was a good team player, he's just a good friend, all around good guy."
The Bryant Police Department says an accident reconstruction has taken place and hopefully that will give them more information as to what happened.
