Dogs that Survived Greenbrier Fire Still in Need of Adoption

Nearly two dozen dogs remain in need of adoption after surviving a fire in Central Arkansas that killed more than 40 animals on an elderly couple's property last month.

The Faulkner County Humane Society still has roughly 20 dogs available for adoption, but volunteers say applications have slowed to a trickle.
   
The dogs available aren't very old, with most being under six and ready to be placed in a new home.
