The man who stole a donation box from a Goodwill store in Conway as a young child with him watched has been identified.

According to Conway Police, the man visited the store again on Tuesday to do some shopping and was recognized by employees.

Detectives say the man, whose name is not yet being released, admitted to taking the box and offered to pay the $50 back.

The case is under review as Goodwill decides whether to pursue charges or just let him pay the money back, police say.

The woman with the suspect at the time of the theft told police she didn't know he had taken the donation box.
