Happy Halloween: Haunted Little Rock Cemetery

Nestled in the heart of Little Rock is Mount Holly Cemetery,a final resting place for some of Arkansas' most famous historical figures.
But if you believe some reports, all of the dead may not be at rest.
"Sometimes you might see something out of the corner of your eye," says Arkansas Parks and Tourism's Kat Robinson. "You turn, what was that?"
It could be a ghost if you believe the legends surrounding the old cemetery. Robinson shares some of the legends, starting with the figures on top of some of the graves.
"These statues seem to move," she said. "You might say, 'Oh, it's the shadows,' but that doesn't explain everything."
Also a mystery is the music heard by visitors at various times, day and night.
"There's the sound of a flute, but no one ever sees a flute player," says Robinson. "It can't be a bird. It actually sounds like a flute."
Some nearby neighbors have even reported finding some of the tombstones from Mount Holly in their yards. They appear in the middle of the night. How they got there, no one knows for sure.
But perhaps the most frightening reports of all are of ghostly images seen at night by folks passing by along the interstate when the cemetery is closed and guarded.
"They see these figures, in historical outfits, and they're wondering what's up with that?," says Robinson.

"There is an other worldly aspect to being out here at Mount Holly Cemetery that can't be ignored," Robinson says.
