An Arkansas legislator has written that slavery may "have been a blessing," and now he's making news headlines.
Republican Jon Hubbard, of Jonesboro, makes the comment in his self-published book "Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative."
According to Amazon.com, Hubbard's book was published in 2009, two years before he took office.
