Razorbacks Soccer Opens Season this Weekend

Arkansas' soccer team and first-year head coach Colby Hale officially open their season with a pair of home games at Razorback Field this weekend and promotions are in place for both contests.
           
The Razorbacks entertain Austin Peay on Friday at 7 p.m. and Texas on Sunday at 1 p.m.
           
Friday is UA Faculty and Staff Day. University faculty and staff will receive a voucher for free admission for two for the APSU game. Sunday is Welcome Back Students day and the first 200 fans will receive Razorback notebooks and pens.
           
The Jason's Deli Kid Zone will open one hour prior to game time and at halftime of each game, any winners in the halftime Kick for Cash contest receive $50, the team will meet with fans and sign autographs after the games and goal t-shirts will be thrown out to fans after each Razorback score. In addition, Fan of the Game winners receive a Razorback prize pack and signed program winners receive a meal from Chick-Fil-A.
           
Following the two games this weekend, the Razorbacks are back home on Aug. 22 for a third straight game in Fayetteville to open the season, hosting Missouri State at 7 p.m.
