Arrested Ward Police Officer Now Has New Job

A Ward Police Officer who was arrested for theft, now has a new job but it's still with the city.

Michelle Scroggins, a former detective for the Ward Police Department, now works for the city's water department.

The mayor says she applied for the transfer. He says she's innocent until proven guilty and was qualified for the job.

Currently, Scroggins does not have a set trial date.
