Hundreds of people turned out today for the 9th annual Pride parade and festival in Conway.
The group Conway Pride says they strive to teach tolerance and acceptance in the South.
The parade Sunday was a way for some to appeal for equal rights under the law.
"Robert and I have been together for 38 years. Straight people have a thousand more rights, that's not right," said John Schenk.
The focus, though, was also on fun. A prize was given away for the best float, vendors hawked T-shirts and food.
The parade organizers say isn't going away any time soon.
