UPDATE: Officer Arrested After Undercover Operation Resigns

Little Rock police confirm Randall Robinson has resigned from the department.
LRPD has started the termination process for Officer Mark Jones.

Late Thursday, the Department of Justice announces the arrests of two Little Rock Police Officers after an investigation found the two were planning to help receive and distribute drugs.
The report released to KARK late Thursday, reveals 45 year old Mark Anthony Jones and 38 year old Randall Tremayn Robinson, who are half brothers, were arrested after conspiring to aid and distribute over one thousand pounds of marijuana. The report also shows they are also charged for possessing a firearm while committing a drug trafficking crime.
According to an affidavit, one of the officers completed several drug deals while in uniform, carrying his gun and driving a city issued vehicle.
Both officers are expected in federal court, Friday.
