Each of the holdups happened on Monday.
The first one was reported just after midnight at Whisperwood Townhouses & Apartments, 8419 Baseline Road.
That's where four people told officers they were on the parking lot in the process of buying/selling a car when two men stepped out of a hallway and took their cash, cell phones and wallets.
In the second incident, police were called to the Valero Big Red at 6421 South University Avenue just after 10:30 last night.
That's where the clerk told officers a man came in, pointed a handgun at her and demanded "open up, open up and give me your drops too." The woman said she opened the cash drawer and the man reached in to take the bills before running out the front door and across the street.
Police said the store's other clerk was sitting in a car outside the store smoking when the robbery took place. The woman told police she crouched down in the car when she saw the suspect armed with a gun go into the store.
In the third robbery case Monday, police were called to the Exxon at 101 N. Van Buren Street just before 11PM.
That's where a cashier told officers a man with a black bandana over his face and a hooded jacket with a yellow Puma logo came in, pointed a gun at her and demanded money.
The woman told police she walked to the register and handed the cash drawer to the suspect, who then ran from the store in the direction of the War Memorial Park golf course.
No one was hurt in any of the robberies.
