Central Arkansas drivers may have trouble filling up on fuel the next time they stop at a gas station.

Ann Hines with the Arkansas Oil Marketers Association confirms there's been an operational issue with the pipeline that feeds gas to Central Arkansas. It was supposed to have received additional fuel on Friday. However, that didn't happen. Another gas delivery isn't expected until Tuesday evening.

People have been writing on the KARK 4 Facebook page that they've visited gas stations only to discover they're out of fuel.

Due to the issue, tank trucks are being forced to head to places like Ft. Smith and El Dorado to bring gas to the Little Rock area, according to Hines.

Hines says Central Arkansas' gas supply should be back to normal on Wednesday.
