Longevi-tea Lectures at Arkansas Arts Center

The Arkansas Arts Center presents the second and third lectures in the Longevi-tea Education Series on Friday, January 29 at 7:30 a.m. and Friday, February 12 at 3 p.m., both at the Arkansas Arts Center Lecture Hall. The Longevi-tea Education Series is presented by The Longevity Center at St. Vincent.
The January lecture, Love and Passion in the 1st and 21st Centuries, presented by Dr. David Lipschitz, M.D., Executive Director of the Longevity Center at St. Vincent and Nan Plummer, Executive Director of the Arkansas Arts Center, will explore the romantic lives of the ancient Egyptians and how it relates to love today. Continental breakfast and gift bags will be provided to guests.
In the February lecture, Dr. David’s Adventures in Egypt, Dr. David will show slides and talk about his recent tour of Egypt. High tea and gift bags will be provided to guests.
The lectures are held in conjunction with the exhibition World of the Pharaohs: Treasures of Egypt Revealed on view now through July 5. Admission to the lectures is free but reservations are required and must be made by calling St. Vincent at (501) 552-4724.
Dr. David is a world-renowned geriatrician and nationally recognized as a leader in the field of geriatrics. He has served as both Chair of the Research Committee of the American Geriatrics Society and Chair of the Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs. He is consistently named one of the "Best Doctors in America," and he has been featured on numerous media outlets, including the Today Show, discussing aspects of senior health.
