Wild River Country Mascot Name Contest Begins

March 20th is officially the first day of spring. This means increasing daylight, warming temperatures and rebirth. One place rebirth can be seen at is Wild River Country water park.

Crews started working last week making major changes to the park. ''

'The parks new owner, Aquapark Holdings LLC, has committed a million dollars to renovating various onsite amenities. These include an ADA bridge near the wave pool; resurfacing and refurbishing all the slides a new color; new landscaping; and the addition of new services and family fun events to improve the customers experience. The park is also making improvements on the food and beverage services. Complementing the property upgrades is a newly redesigned website and a new mascot. The public can also participate in naming the parks new bear mascot by visiting the Wild River Country Facebook Fan Page. Each person who enters the "Name the Mascot" contest is automatically entered into a drawing to win a family four pack for one day admission. The winning entry will win four 2013 Season Passes. 

 Season passes include unlimited admission for the 2013 season; the chance to bring a friend at a discounted price on certain days; plus discounts on cabanas, birthday party bookings and food, beverage and merchandise purchases. Wild River Country will also be hosting new Family Fun Nights this year which are included at no cost to season pass holders.

The cost of a season pass is $49.99, but you can now save $5 to $9 per pass dependent upon the number of passes purchased with an Early Bird Offer.

Single-day tickets are not on sale yet, but Wild River Country lists the prices as $29.99 for general admission and $20.99 for children age 12 and under. Children two years old and under are admitted free as well as seniors age 60 and older.
