Girls of Promise UALR Conference

Today on KARK 4 Today, we're talking girl power.

Our special guest spoke about the 14th annual Girls of Promise UALR Conference, which will be held Sat., March 9.

The conference, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., serves to introduce eight-grade girls across Arkansas to information about careers in areas related to math, science and technology, while giving them
the opportunity to meet with women professionals for greater understanding of their own potential and power.

The registration deadline is Friday, February 22. Admission is free.
