Man in El Dorado Gets Prison Sentence After Rape, Burglary Convictions

A man is headed to prison after being convicted of rape in El Dorado.

A Union County jury found 27-year-old Nicholas Burris guilty of rape and residential burglary in a 2010 case against a woman living in El Dorado.

DNA evidence presented to the court helped the jury reach their decision.

Burris was sentenced to 15 years for rape and 20 years for residential burglary.
