Testing for chest pain includes an EKG, a treadmill stress test, a nuclear stress test, an echocardiogram and cardiac catheterization.

The first test may provide the answer or may lead to a more invasive evaluation.  The answers may
find a coronary artery stenosis, valve dysfunction or a heart rhythm problem.

Dr. Dwight Chrisman with the Baptist Health Heart Institute explains how doctors make the diagnosis.
