Kids line up early at the Dalton Whetstone Boys and Girls Club in Little Rock, fresh out of school and hungry enough to eat a horse.

Program Coordinator Gary Casey dished out the snacks Thursday, some honey grahams and fruit cups straight from the Arkansas Foodbank.

"It really is a blessing just to have the Arkansas Foodbank," Casey said.

Sikia Brown says programs like Kids Cafe helps them feed thousands of kids every day, but there's a lot more who go hungry.

Casey says the club was a different place before they partnered with the foodbank.

"I've had kids that were angry, and when I got to the bottom of it they were just hungry," Casey said.
