Award Winning Docu-narrative to be Shown Tonight in Little Rock

The screening commemorates World AIDS Day, which is celebrated world-wide each December 1st.

deepsouth explores the lives of four Americans from Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama as they try to redefine southern traditions and values and create solutions to survive the new, soaring HIV rates in the South.

"We are honored to bring New York native Lisa Biagiotti to share this film with Arkansans that explores the poverty, stigma, and broken social infrastructures, particularly in the South, that have helped keep the virus such a stubborn and successful foe in this region of the United States " said Idonia Trotter, Executive Director of the Arkansas Minority Health Commission.
