A 21-year-old pine bluff man accused of raping a 16-year-old boy appeared in court on Wednesday for a probable cause hearing.

The Jefferson County prosecutors office says Clifton Blunt told the judge he plans on hiring his own attorney, and did not enter a plea.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies say Blunt worked as a youth advocate for the juvenile court and that's how he met the 16-year-old boy.

Blunt's next court appearance is in October.

His bond was set at $50,000.
