A Missing Stone County 3-year-old boy has been found alive this afternoon.
That's according to the Mountain View Police Department, which could not release any further details.
Landen Cade Trammell had last been seen in his home about 8:00 Tuesday morning.
KARK 4 Reporter Adam Rodriguez has been on the scene since this morning. He reports that
Landen was found playing in a creek bed in an area already searched three times.
He was found by forestry worker Bradley Taylor about three miles from his home.
Taylor said the boy was making mud pies "and looked at me like I should be playing with him."
Friends say the little boy has wandered off before, once visiting his grandmother's grave in the cemetery.
His first words when found were "I'm playing" and he was very happy to see a bag of Cheetos.
Authorities say the search area covered a six-mile radius, centered at the boy's home. Volunteers were grouped in teams of five and assigned to grids.
About 80 to 90-percent of the search area is dense forest and also included several ponds, caves, and rugged hillsides.
Update (September 12):
The search has entered its second day with many volunteers helping look for the child with no sign of him so far.
