Police: Missing Benton Man Had Threatened to Harm Himself

The Benton Police Department is asking for help from the public in locating a man who's been missing for nearly three weeks.

Tommy Rush, 34, has not been seen or heard from since August 3rd when police say he called a family member and threatened to harm himself. 

Rush is about 5'6" tall and weighs about 165 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a white and blue striped t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and a blue bandana around his head. Rush is believed to still be in the Benton and Saline County area.  

Anyone with information on the man's whereabouts is urged to call the Benton Police Department at (50) 778-1171 or (501) 315-TIPS. Anonymous tips can also be sent to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the text.

As a Benton citizen, I am saddened that we have not heard more about this over the 3 weeks he has been missing.
