KARK Community Service Awards Presentation Airs Tonight

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: August 18, 2012
KARK is preparing to put the spotlight on Arkansans from all across the state.

Our annual Community Service Awards (CSA) program airs tonight from 6:30 to 8:00.

The show host is Dave Woodman, who retired last month after taping of the program.

The CSA's showcase a group of everyday people who have gone above and beyond the call of community service.

They are folks who see a need and act on it, see a void and fill it.

For some, their community service has gone by year after year without any fanfare.

But some people took notice of those tireless efforts, and that's where the CSA's come in.

Award winners must be nominated. All-year long we produce profiles of nominees each month.

With Dave Woodman retired, KARK's Jancey Sheats takes over as producer of the CSA awards.
