UA Professor Invents High-Tech "E-Bra"

It is a high-tech invention, created by a professor at the University of Arkansas, and it is called an "e-bra."
"You can really know what your heart is all about," said Dr. Vijay Varadan.
The University of Arkansas doctor showed off his newest invention. It is basically a high tech sports bra and for guys an "e-vest."
"The data will be sent through the cell phone to the hospital...By the time you reach there, the doctor already has that," added Varadan.
A little device snaps onto the sports bra, and tracks blood pressure, body temperature, oxygen consumption, and it can even detect if you are about to have a heart attack.
"If you're ever in trouble and you have no one else, I guess if it got sent to a hospital that would be good," said Hannah West.
The technology is actually in the fabric and sends data directly to your cell phone. For many, the best part is it is all washable.
"I think a lot of people would like that aspect of it, for sure," said Michael Davis.
So as technology advances, who knew bras would too?
"You never know when you're going to be sick," said Dr. Varadan.
Make sure you keep an eye out for these unsuspecting undergarments.
