The weather will be changing as we move through the holiday weekend. An approaching cold front will really cause our temperatures to spike on Saturday. Look for highs in the upper 90s and low 100s in most locations in central and southern Arkansas. Temperatures will stay a bit cooler up north due to increased cloud cover and late afternoon and evening storms. Some of these will be severe as they push into north Arkansas late in the day. The storms will continue to sink south along the front overnight Saturday bringing good rain chances to central and southern Arkansas on Sunday.
