Temperatures were cooler overall with showers and storms in the north central section of the state keeping temperatures down.  At 11 this morning temperatures were ranging from 72 in Harrison with light rain to 87 in Little Rock and El Dorado.  Storms were tracking southeast and stretching from Harrions in the north to Dardanelle further south.  Highs for central Arkansas will be cooler than yesterday topping out around 94.  Heat advisories were not issued today as heat indices will be no higher than the upper 90s for most of the state.  Extreme southeastern Arkansas could see heat indices into the low 100s.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to migrate southward today into central and southern Arkansas.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into Thursday with highs similar to today mainly in the mid-90s.
