**Severe Thunderstorm Watch for northern Arkansas until 8pm**

Scattered storms, some severe with hail and wind, will move through northern and northwest Arkansas this afternoon. Storms are also developing in eastern Oklahoma and will move toward central Arkansas for tonight. It may be a close call for fireworks in central Arkansas this afternoon. The storms today will produce a good deal of lightning. Make sure you're not caught on the lakes when storms approach. Have a safe and happy 4th of July.
