Reported by: KARK 4 Sports Thursday, Oct 29, 2009 @03:35pm CDT Due to the heavy volume of rainfall expected over the next 24 hours in the Jonesboro area, the Arkansas State soccer match against UALR has been moved to be played at Paragould High School at 1:00 p.m. Friday.
With an already saturated field and a high volume of rain expected between Thursday and Friday, the field has been deemed unplayable resulting in the change. With two matches remaining, ASU has the chance to make the conference tournament for the first time since the 2004 season. The Red Wolves are currently ranked in the top eight in the conference with only the 1-8 ranked teams in the conference standings receiving bids to the SBC Tournament. After the UALR match, ASU wraps up regular season action on Sunday at Louisiana-Monroe. |
