Reported by: Newsroom Solutions Monday, Nov 2, 2009 @02:30pm CST There is a record for the world's largest meatball, and it now belongs to an Italian restaurant in Concord, New Hampshire.
The official weight, according to the "Concord Monitor," was 222-pounds-eight-ounces. It was created at Nonni's Italian Eatery. The weighing-in happened next door, at the Holiday Inn ballroom, before a huge crowd on Sunday. The Concord meatball tops the official Guinness world record set in September on Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show, which was a mere 198-point-six-pounds. |
