According to the "Minneapolis Star Tribune, the visitor without a reservation was a moose that wandered into the courtyard of the hotel. After more than four hours of eating grass and leaves, police finally arrived and shot the moose in the backside with a tranquilizer gun. The animal was then picked up with a front-end loader and removed from the hotel courtyard. Police say the moose will be released back into the wild. |
