Friday, Nov 27, 2009 @01:48pm CST (Washington, DC) -- A group called "Draft Dick Cheney 2012" is hoping to put the former vice president back in the White House -- this time as commander in chief.
One of the groups' organizers, Christopher Barron, says the 2012 race will be "about the heart and soul of the GOP." Barron added Cheney would be the most qualified candidate, with the experience, courage and commitment to Republican values needed to recapture the presidency. Cheney's three word reply to all this flattery -- "not a chance." (Copyright 2009 by VERTEXNews/Newsroom Solutions) |
