Reported by: KARK 4 News Friday, Nov 20, 2009 @06:42pm CST A Dardanelle hospital is accepting emergency room patients again, after a small pox scare this morning.
Arkansas Department of Health officials say a man went to the River Valley Medical Center this morning with what appeared to be small pox symptoms. As a precaution, the hospital diverted emergency room patients to other facilities for several hours. The man did not have small pox, so the ER was reopened this afternoon. No case of small pox has been diagnosed in the world since 1978. |
