Richard Fedrizzi, the CEO and founding chairman of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is the special guest for the school's Lunch & Lecture that starts at noon. USGBC is a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization committed to fostering a sustainable future for America through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. Under Fedrizzi’s leadership, the USGBC expanded its influence through the internationally recognized LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System, which recognizes sustainability in new and existing structures.
