Reported by: KARK 4 News Monday, Nov 2, 2009 @01:20pm CST Mid-South Community College and Arkansas Tech University are joining forces to bring a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management to students in Eastern Arkansas, Western Tennessee, and Northwest Mississippi on the MSCC campus in West Memphis.
With the region’s proximity to the New Madrid Fault and its history of severe weather, the new degree program will offer an alternative to students wishing to pursue a degree in emergency management closer to home. MSCC President Dr. Glen Fenter and ATU President Dr. Bob Brown signed the agreement today in an afternoon ceremony on the Mid-South campus. |
