Reported by: Newsroom Solutions Monday, Nov 2, 2009 @10:30am CST Pending sales of previously owned homes rose unexpectedly by just over six-percent in September.
The National Association of Realtors says its Pending Home Sales Index is at its highest level in almost three years, having eight straight months of increases. NAR chief economist Lawrence Yun attributes the September pending home sales figure to the expiration at the end of November of the government's popular tax credit for first-time buyers. |
