Saturday, Oct 31, 2009 @10:42am CDT (Washington, DC) -- Oprah Winfrey and Brad Pitt are among the celebrities who have visited the White House since Barack Obama became president in January.
MSNBC reports the White House Friday released a small list of 110 visitors to the White House, although the names of most of those visiting remain secret. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, former AIG chairman Maurice Greenberg and labor leader Andrew Stern of the Service Employees International Union are also on the list, with Stern visiting 22 times since the January inauguration. Democratic donor and businessman George Soros visited with White House aides twice. Among the political figures to come calling were former Democratic Senator Thomas Daschle, former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, Minnesota Senator Al Franken and former Vice President Al Gore.
