Reported by: KARK 4 News Thursday, Oct 1, 2009 @05:00pm CDT Today is Big Thursday with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and we have a match.
Nick is a third grader at Rockefeller Magnet School. He was looking for a big brother and ended up with his perfect match. Mentors make a difference in kid's lives. We talked with a "big brother" and his "little" about their match. "It's an opportunity for me to give back to the community and I believe everyone should give back if some way if they can," says David Meroney, Nick's Big Brother. "They can teach us stuff about what they do in their life and they can help us with our work and we can share things with them," says Nick, David's Little Brother.
