Imagine being taken from your home by strangers only to wind up in a courtroom for a judge to decide if you will ever see your parents again. It's a harsh reality for more than a thousand kids in the Pulaski County foster system.
CASA helps these children by advocating for what they believe are the best interests of the child, basically holding their hand in court.
Next week, CASA volunteers, board members, and judges will be honored at a CASA banquet. The banquet will take place October 6th.
A charity golf tournament is also being held October 23rd to raise funds for the organization. The 15th annual Pulaski County Judges Cup will be held at Rebsamen Golf Course.
For more information on the program or to sign up for the tournament, go to www.pulaskicountycasa.org
