Your kids might not be the only ones in the family in line for a flu shot this fall.

Dogs might need them too -- especially if they're going to spend any time in kennels or with large groups of dogs.

But, not for swine flu. It's for canine influenza virus -- a highly contagious disease that causes coughing, congestion and a minor fever.

Humans cannot catch the flu from their pets.
