Most bars are closed on Sunday morning in the River Market, but not the Rev Room.  It's actually packed with people and music. What's going on? A church service.  And now the River Church is expanding their ministry into the week.

Tuesday night, The River Church, along with B98.5, hosted a Christian concert at the Rev Room, featuring artist Matt Wertz.  They say this is a new part of the ministry, branching out past Sunday morning and holding regular Christian events at bars in the River Market.

Once a week, they hold financial seminars for people, and they hope to bring more concerts, because they say a church is all about meeting people where they are.

"Our church meets in a bar, in a neutral location like this, so that people that who would not normally walk into a church can feel accepted. It's not about who you are, what you wear, or where you are. It's about who you worship. That's why we do stuff like this," Shane Montgomery, pastor of River Church said.
