Reported by: Brooke Iglehart, KARK 4 News Friday, May 29, 2009 @05:30pm CDT President Obama says he wants to protect your computer, and every computer in this country, from attack.
That's why, he said he'll appoint a cyber czar, to oversee computer security and respond to major attacks or viruses that track exactly what you type on your computer, like your bank login or credit card number. It's a step Arkansas is planning to make. "Arkansas is also going in that direction I think we setting up an Arkansas task force,” says UALR cyber security czar Ramaswamy Shini. Obama insisted they will not intrude on "personal privacy and civil liberties." The internet will remain open and free. |
