The Powerball jackpot was won Wednesday night by a ticket holder in Kansas.

The win was worth more than $96-million ($48-million cash value), and reset the jackpot back to $20-million for Saturday night's drawing.

In Arkansas, a total of 14,112 tickets won lesser prizes, including:
Match 4, 21 winners
Match 3 + PB, 26 winners
Match 3 - 1,028 winners
Match 2 + PB, 420 winners
Match 1 + PB - 2,359 winners
Match PB Only - 4,267 winners

This afternoon, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials revealed that the state's Powerball sales in Wednesday's drawing ranked as the eighth highest per capita among the 33 jurisdictions (31 states, DC, and USVI). 

The figures also show Arkansas Powerplay sales as third highest per capita (see chart below).

The next drawing is Saturday night at 10:00.
