Reported by: Newsroom Solutions Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @06:30am CST Willis Willis wants his million dollars, and he's considering suing the Texas Lottery Commission to get it.
Willis contends he was cheated out of a million-dollar jackpot. Investigators say Willis bought a Mega Millions ticket in May and later took it to a convenience store to see if it had won. Willis says the store clerk told him it was worth two-dollars, when in fact it was worth a million-dollars. The clerk, Pankaj Joshi, cashed in the ticket and claimed the money for himself in late June according to official reports. Joshi has since disappeared, but officials have located an account they say belongs to Joshi and have frozen approximately 350-thousand-dollars. |
