Reported by: Pete Thompson, Lauren Lea, KARK 4 News Wednesday, Feb 11, 2009 @10:00pm CST The Ouachita County Sheriff says authorities are now leaning toward the possibility that a missing three-year-old boy was kidnapped from his Chidester home Tuesday afternoon.
Arkansas State Police issued a Morgan Nick Amber Alert late Tuesday for Dominick Wesley Arceneaux. He was last seen wearing blue jean shorts with red stitching. He is approximately three-feet tall, with brown eyes and short brown hair. For nearly six hours Wednesday, the Game and Fish dive team searched the shoreline of White Oak Lake. Arceneaux was last seen behind his family's mobile home, which is only 50 feet away from the lake. Sheriff David Norwood say he was playing with the family dog and his wheelbarrow around two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. He went inside to remove his shoes and five minutes later, his mother and aunt, who were inside the home, heard silence. They went outside and discovered the boy had vanished. |
