Former President Bill Clinton is expected to be among those attending the conference Monday. The conference got underway on Sunday, just one day after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released some alarming statistics. According to the CDC, at least 56-thousand people in the U.S. alone are infected with HIV each year. The figure is 40-percent higher than previous estimates. |
