Reported by: S. Burnette, KARK 4 News Thursday, Jul 3, 2008 @03:51pm CDT Some of America's future engineers have been brainstorming here in Little Rock the past two weeks. "We did a bunch of different engineering things from telecom, mechanical, electrical engineering. We did a bunch of classes like that and we had some activities afterward," says camp participant Michael Swann from Norman, Oklahoma. The engineering scholars program for high school students wrapped up at UALR today with certificate presentations for a job well done. Building robots was just one example of the projects they worked on. The two-week residential camp included high school students from Arkansas and Oklahoma. |
