Reported by: Robin Thibault, KARK 4 NEWS Friday, May 23, 2008 @02:53pm CDT It's been reported recently that former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee, could be a potential vice presidential running mate for Senator John McCain.
So, why isn't he part of a governor's weekend at McCain's house in Arizona?
According to Max Brantley's blog on Arkansas Times, Huckabee was invited out to Arizona this weekend, but regretted so that he and his wife, Janet, could celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary.
On the guest list, Mitt Romney, Charlie Crist and Bobby Jindal.
The McCain camp says there's no VP talk on the agenda and hat the gathering's purely social.
