Jimmy Evans with the Northwest Fire Department told KARK 65 to 70 homes in Shannon Hills in Saline County have been evacuated. According to the Red Cross, the Curtis Cove neighborhood in Little Rock has also been evacuated. The local Red Cross has opened a shelter at Moody's Chapel right now for those who need shelter. Other shelter locations are on standby in case conditions worsen. Moody's Chapel is located at 5630 Mabelvale Pike, near University Avenue.
